Life is nuts lately and sometimes the prospect of writing a really long post is overwhelming. So for awhile I'm just going to do random thoughts. You know you love it.
I strongly believe that every kid should go to a farm and pick vegetables and fruit and see where their meat comes from, too. In the craziness that is my life and especially diet these days, the repetitive work and childlike surprise of finding a gorgeous ripe berry under all the leaves is extremely cathartic. At the root at all of the questions, the answer is sometimes right there in the dirt. Plants eat sun and we eat plants. Hunt, gather. Circle of life. Remind me that, someday, I want a small farm.
